Italiano
 
For a fresh, homemade and easy tomato sauce, just heat one can tomato paste with a scant can of water and one can whole tomatoes (use fresh peeled tomatoes - mama mia!). Add one full tablespoon "Italiano" space blend - cook - then before serving stir in one more tablespoon.
 
Great in pizza, spaghetti, asagna, and all your tomato sauces.
 
For a zesty Italian dressing add "Italiano" blend to three parts oil and one part vinegar. Shake well.
 
Oregano means "joy of the mountains." This herb was little used in this country until the 1940's, when G.I.'s returning from Italy brought back a taste for pizza!
