This is a balanced blend of both vine and red peppers. It starts with grinding and sieving black and white peppercorns together as a base, then adds a distinctive blend of dehystrated vegetables.
 
Sweet, or bell, peppers of the potato-tomato family give us the big fleshly sweet red peppers we use as  vegetable. Dehydrated sweet red pepper flates add unique flavor and brillient color when used as  a flavoring. 
 
Peppers were unknown outside of America before Columbus.
