Wormy Maple Charcuterie Board
After use, wipe board with paper towel. If necessary use a slightly damp cloth to remove remaining food. Never submerge in water. Before every 3rd use, apply Board Butter (mixture of mineral oil & beeswax) by hand to board to keep it conditioned & protected. Let sit for at least 15 minutes, then wipe excess butter off with cloth.
Because this board is finished in a true
"food safe manner", foods such as berries, yellow cheddar & artificially dyed foods will stain wood. To refrain from staining, place foods in a bowl, on waxpaper or on a clean leaf such as lettuce.
To remove stains or common grain roughness, hand sand board with a 220 grit sand paper then reapply board butter.
